{"id":1811,"date":"2026-04-23T12:47:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T15:47:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lanuevavozdigital.com.py\/voz\/?p=1811"},"modified":"2026-04-23T12:47:19","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T15:47:19","slug":"en-el-jem-piden-remover-a-juez-imputado-por-mafia-de-pagares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lanuevavozdigital.com.py\/voz\/2026\/04\/23\/en-el-jem-piden-remover-a-juez-imputado-por-mafia-de-pagares\/","title":{"rendered":"En el JEM piden remover a juez imputado por mafia de pagar\u00e9s"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La fiscala acusadora <strong>Cinthia Vera<\/strong> solicit\u00f3 este jueves al <strong>Jurado de Enjuiciamiento de Magistrados (JEM)<\/strong> la remoci\u00f3n del juez <strong>Gustavo Villalba B\u00e1ez<\/strong>, imputado por supuestamente integrar el esquema conocido como la <strong>mafia de los pagar\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante sus alegatos finales, Vera sostuvo que el magistrado incurri\u00f3 en <strong>mal desempe\u00f1o de funciones<\/strong>, citando irregularidades detectadas en su labor dentro del Juzgado de la Catedral. Entre ellas, la falta de fechas y numeraci\u00f3n en varias resoluciones, lo que vulner\u00f3 la seguridad jur\u00eddica y la fe p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El juez Villalba B\u00e1ez ya hab\u00eda sido suspendido por la Corte Suprema y enfrenta un proceso penal.
